This system takes advantage of the NavLinkProxy
objects in Unreal Engine allowing AI to navigate through unnavigable areas. Two Blueprints
were made for this system: BP_JumpNavLink
and BP_Archway
.
This is a NavLinkProxy
Blueprint
that will allow AI to jump from one surface to a higher surface. This can also be used to allow AI to drop from a higher surface to a lower one.
The area under SM_Arch
is too narrow for AI navigation, so I made BP_Archway
to fix this. This Blueprint
has a NavLink
component to allow the AI to walk from one side of the archway to the other.
